The Cat's Meow

The Cat f**king rocks, man! We have named her Lucy Fur - but Fur for short. (Lucifer, geddit?) Ha Ha.

We collected her from her old home yesterday evening and the minute we got her in her basket, she started mewing insanely and head-butting the door. So as soon as we got her in the car we let her out of the basket and she leapt about the back seat like a cat on a hot tin roof (*snigger*).

When she was more settled, she let rip with the most awesome fart known to man (or cat) and I knew this cat was a girl after my own heart.

We got her to her new abode and she started meowing a lot but soon had the guided tour and seemed suitably satisfied with her new living quarters. Hannibal Lector the Boa raised his head half-heartedly in his tank to get a look at his new housemate but didn't seem all that enamoured and then we all sat down to watch Eastenders together.

When it came to bedtime Fur leapt into our bed with great ease but didn't stop there for long. Rocker took her downstairs again to watch Wilde on DVD because he couldn't sleep either. They are going to be bestest mates I can already feel it.

She kept checking in sporadically throughout the night though, by jumping on my head and gently patting my face and waking me up for kisses.
I love her.
