Lost - Episode 9

Darling PQ: This week we had Sayid's story, which was sad and exciting - I don't have much time to write my usual babble - but his back story was good and gave you an insight into his character, hard but soft inside. He also met the French lady from the distress call, so we might be getting nearer to finding out more about what the blazes it going on!

Sawyer and Kate has a few flirty little looks exchanged between them (which made me all gooey inside...), much to the Doc's dismay, 'cos he fancies her too. And so does Sayid I think, what a lucky girl Kate is, but she is lovely, maybe even I have a crush on her!!

Hurley built a golf course and everyone was chilled.

THE OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS OF THE EPISODE:

Episode 9 / Solitary

On an unfamiliar stretch of beach, a solitary Sayid notices a wire cable sticking out of the sand. Lifting it, he sees that it stretches into the jungle. He follows it...

Meanwhile, Kate tells Jack she's worried about Sayid - it's been two days since he left. Jack tells her that Sayid is a trained soldier and can take care of himself.

Back in the jungle, Sayid continues to follow the cable - but stops dead when he spots a tripwire. He carefully steps over it, right into the trap that's waiting for him...

Footsteps approach Sayid as he sways suspended from the rope trap. A machete blade swings - and he comes crashing to the forest floor.

Sayid wakes to find himself strapped to a bed. A shadowy figure asks him the whereabouts of 'Alex'. When he doesn't answer, electricity surges through the metal frame, and Sayid writhes in agony.

At the caves, spirits are raised when Charlie calls the castaways to see what Hurley's been constructing. It's something unexpected, even for this island...

Another jolt of electricity racks Sayid's body, and he pleads for mercy. He doesn't know any 'Alex', and the only sign of any other island inhabitants is a 16-year-old distress call!
Sayid's eyes widen in shock at his captor's response...

Meanwhile, Walt approaches Locke and asks if he will teach him how to use a knife. After considering for a moment, Locke turns the knife around and hands it to the young boy...
