I love this little fella...
Supposedly the ugliest dog in the world. (We all know Mariah Carey wears the crown, officially).
Poor boy.
He may be no oil painting but I bet he more than makes up for it in doggy personality - after yesterday's Sun newspaper pictures my heart is completely broken and I feel even more cynical with the world, so seeing this dog who is anything but fluffy and sweet being so loved (his owner has said he is the most loving animal and she adores him) is something really special.
How is it that some people feel they have the right to injure, maim or kill a mute animal or child? What makes a person that evil?
Is a person born evil or does something horrific happen in their lives to make them so?

I feel the same exact way.
It's so funny (but not in a ha-ha way) that you mention this....I've got a little (or maybe not so little) story for you.
There's a guy that lives across the street from us who is from Peru (or maybe it's Venezuela...I'm not sure:) but anyway, he has a bunch of chickens. These chickens have been having little chickens of their own now for a few years and they're always over at The Peanut Palace (mainly because my Peanut Mom has taken to buying corn to feed them).
Well, one day this little pee-pee (baby chicken peep...I call them pee-pees) comes over and his beak is crooked. VERY crooked...like the bottom beak is almost completely sideways!!! So I started giving this little chicken extra special attention (and named him "BrokeBeak").
The other day I went out and discovered that he somehow broke his right leg....I don't know if he got attacked by a dog or if another chicken did it or what) but he can't use it at all so now, he can't even scratch the ground to scare up food now so now, as soon as I get home, he comes hopping across the yard on one foot because he knows I'm going to feed him (he eats right out of my hand now...none of the other chickens will get near people...they run away).
It's funny...when BrokeBeak sees my truck pull into the garage, he hops like mad into our carport and practically sits on my feet until I get some corn out special for him.
The PK says we shouldn't prolong BrokeBeaks life because he's just going to die anyway because he's crippled. I don't agree. We argue DAMN NEAR DAILY over this.
So I kinda know JUST what you mean when it comes to feeling the way you do about animals who aren't "perfect". We gotta love them too! :)
