Babs Fan in the making

Rocker's eldest daughter Animal has recently revealed that she would like to be an actress. (She told me first, above everyone else because she thought people would laugh at her. How sweet is that?) So I've decided to try and do some research into drama workshops in her area and get her into movies starring great character actors, not to copy but just to study, like.

So I ask her what her favourite film of all time is and she says "I dunno".

So I say "Come on, Animal you must know a film you really like?"

Animal: "Shaun of the Dead"

Wondy: "That's cool - so do you have a favourite actor or actress?"

Animal: "Ed from Shaun of the Dead"

Wondy: "Erm, ok - yes he's very good. Anyone else?"

A: "I dunno"

W: "No-one at all?"

A: "Hmmmmmmmmm"

W: "Maybe think of some recent films you've seen that you've liked?"

A: "Well I like that woman from Meet the Fockers..."

W: "BABS?! YOU LIKE BABS?! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!"

A: "???"

W: "She's only my favourite woman EVER! I've got loads of her films shall we have a Barbra Streisand marathon?"

A: "Yes please!"


So you see, Babs works on so many levels, she reaches the old, the weary, the Wondys and the young - and I didn't even have to bully Animal into being a Babs fan! I am so proud! Babs works in mysterious ways...
