The Family Stone
I really want to go and see The Family Stone, simply so I can bask in SJP's gloriousness. I am sorry, it's a cliche I know but I really don't care, I adore the horse-faced old trollop. She's amazing.
Claire Danes is also in it and she's fabulous too (ESPECIALLY in Brokedown Palace). I don't know, but around this time of year I like to forgo my usual complicated arthouse vehicles for something a little fluffier. I want a happy ending sometimes, you know?
I want to watch something that doesn't inspire me to change the world, but allows me just to sit and absorb all its glossiness? Is this wrong? Is this why for every Belle de jour in my DVD collection, there's a Footloose?
Who knows, but I want my happy-ending, SJP starring Christmas movie and I will bloody well have it! K?

I REALLY wanna go see this too! I do think the title is awful though? When the trailer for this showed, I just looked at my boyfriend and smiled. I know how to strike fear in a mans heart :) x
I find, as I get older, a movie is no good at all if the ending isn't happy.
I want the guy to get the girl, the kid to find his dog, the cowboy to ride into the sunset...everything.
