Frosty the Snowman
Everything is so pretty this morning, covered in sparkly frost. Even the most pikey of neighbourhoods looks a bit special under that. I love that satisfying crunch when you walk across the frost-covered grass.
It is of course utterly freezing but I don’t mind, I think of it as free Botox, it freezes the face solid so there are no more wobbly jowls or spare chins flapping about. I couldn’t be bothered to apply my makeup this morning and so I am fresh faced. People keep commenting on how tired I look which is always nice. I feel like I’m sitting at my desk naked.
“I wish it could be Christmas everyday” is pumping out of the stereo. At least it isn’t Take That’s Greatest Hits for the third time!
Just three and a bit more working days and then Christmas! The woman next door wants us to pay to fix the fence. To be fair she is offering to go halves when she could be a bitch about it because the woman in the house before us promised it years ago and never did anything about it, but it’s another £75 we don’t have. I better start scraping it together now so it’s no surprise in the New Year. I hate having to pay bills.
Like PQ and her thugs, it’s just another expense not needed at this time of year.
Nanny Worthing isn’t very well either so fingers crossed she is ok for Christmas. At least I currently have my health so moaning about a few bills at the wrong time of the year is a bit pathetic really from me, so I’ll shut up now.

Oooo...I feel for you on putting out the extra cash.....this time of year, it sure does hurt!
I don't think anyone here at work would recognize me without my "face" on....in 12 years of work, I've never not worn make-up. I'm afraid security won't let me into the building! ;)
