I won't let this happen!

Oh. My. God. Talk about your fantasy casting. There was talk this summer about the possibility of Kate Beckinsale as Wonder Woman, but after seeing these pictures of her from Halloween '04, how can you even imagine anyone else? She is even quoted as saying she would like to do the part:
"I dressed up as her last Hallowe'en so it would be good to do it again."
Hey, Joss Whedon, if you're reading this (and we all know you are), I think it's obvious who we need to play this part.
Wondy says:
I'm sorry, Joss? Please, please don't do this. I don't want her to play the part, she's not good enough. She can't act.
Sure, she looks cute but it's not enough. Wonder Woman isn't merely cute, she's beautiful and she has something else, a quality you can't put your finger on. I will boycott if you cast Kate Beckinsale.
Do. Not. Do. It.
That said, great halloween cossie:

Jaime Murray
In the BBC series "Hustle" (2004/I), Jaime Murray wore a Wonder Woman costume in one episode. Her co-star, Robert Vaughn, liked it so much that he took a copy of the episode back to Hollywood and showed it to executives. On the strength of this Jaime Murray was invited to audition for the part.
