Master Present Giver

A big ol' Merry Christmas to the one and only Shocking Fish who is celebrating an early Crimbo Day with his beloved Monkey today.
Merry Christmas love and a sparkly New Year!
Yesterday we met for a drink and good old fashioned gossip and exchanged gifts. Yes, we were bad and opened them there and then, with no thought for our own personal safety and the risk of envoking Santa Pants' wrath. We're both 'fly by the seat of your pants' kinda people so we though FUCK IT and ripped into the sparkly paper...
Well! SF should be a personal shopper, his gifts are always the best around. So thoughtful and wonderful and a little OTT - in a fabulous way!
We got eachother the same CD - A John Waters Christmas!
With classic songs such as Here comes fatty Claus, Sleigh ride by Alvin And The Chipmunks
and Santa Claus is a black man this is bound to be a hit around the dinner table come the 25th.
As we're allowed Christmas Carols at work from tomorrow, I wonder if Brent would appreciate a little John Waters? He is a born-again cool dude afterall.
I also got my favourite show on DVD "Love Soup", Shock Value: A Tasteful Book About Bad Taste by John Waters and Weird Science.
Thank you SF I love my presents!
We then went for a little stroll around the shops searching for some more little items. I bought some socks for Rocker and the DVD Surviving Christmas, which we watched on Saturday evening.
Then SF skipped off to meet his paramour and I went home to Rocker.
*sigh*

OK! Now I'm pissed. I didn't realize that any of the John Waters stuff was on DVD. I've only got my worn out and very fuzzy videotapes. I soooo know what I'm spending gift certificates on this year.

YES! Thanks for reminding me of Alvin and The Chipmunks. They have one thing in common with the old band of Graham Nash, The Hollies in that the harmonies drove him nuts so he quit!

You sound like you had a great time and awesome gifts as well.
