Countdown to Crimbo… 5 Days 7 hours of work left! I think somewhere along the line I have messed up my Countdown to Crimbo, as yesterday I stated 9 days left and since then I have lost nearly 4 days! Oh well.

Not long to go. I have most of my gifts in place. I am just hoping that the present I have ordered for Shocking Fish turns up before Saturday. The hardest people to do this year have been the boys, but isn’t that always the way? Girls and Mum’s are so easy it’s not funny. Grannies and Aunts are ok too. I need to get something glamorous for the pussycats too; we have three in our family, four if you count cousin Cow. Hmmmm, what to get what to get.

No Gilda today, she has disappeared off the face of the earth. Shocking Fish is trying to tempt me with pictures of Jude Law’s tackle and I am too weak to say no. It’s all in the name of research though so not actually a crime against decency. For the first hour today I surfed the net, ordered some gifts off Play.com and generally gossiped with the girls.

No one here is in the mood for work; we’re all winding down. Next week we start the Christmas Carols piped through the stereo speakers. All very well but if Mariah starts up, I leave. It’s as simple as that.

We have had to make an emergency plan to take Lucy Fur with us to mum’s house on the 23rd, as there is no one to check in on her and feed her until Boxing Day and I can’t leave her for three nights alone. The stress would not be good for her and I want my baby around me for Christmas. Mum’s cat Jet is very similar in nature to Lucy Fur, and Lucy Fur is no bully, just quite curious, so hopefully it will work out well. Nevertheless, Lucy will be kept in at all times, I’m not having her roaming streets she doesn’t know, she could find herself at the hands of a rogue tomcat, only interested in one thing. And my girl is not that kind of girl, no siree.
