Horror Fest

So this weekend we bunked down with a horror triple bill starting with the British comedy horror, I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle (I know, I know it is as bad as it sounds!).

The general gist: When a motorbike gang kills an occultist, the evil spirit he was summoning inhabits a damaged bike. The bike is then bought and restored... I promise you this was not my choice!

Then we moved on to Wolf Creek, which I'd been looking forward to for ages and while it was ok, never really kicked off. It's shot really well and it is scary but nothing that hasn't been done before. Lots of nasty bloody tricks from the main 'monster' though!

Lastly, the awesome The Devil's Rejects by Rob Zombie and sequel to House of 1000 Corpses, which I couldn't love more. Devil's was excellent and just as good, if not better than the first movie.
I absolutely love the characters and ended up rooting for them in the end, is this wrong, being as they are blood-thirsty, cold-blooded mass murderers?
Long live the horror genre!
