I guess that's why they call it the blues

How the hell is it Monday already?  I must’ve blinked and missed the weekend entirely.  That said I did bounce out of bed with quite some vigour this morning so it must have done me some good.

On Saturday I met the Fragglehump and her new bird, Rebecca, who I might add is totally gorgeous and lovely with it.  Susie Spandex was there as well and Boo, who is rocking the most wicked hair do in histroy, all spikey with frosted tips, it’s really nice.  SS has just bought a house in Brighton and is now living in domestic bliss with her boyfriend just down the road from Fragglehump herself.

I must admit, I love living where I do, but when I go to Brighton I realise that I miss it.  I miss the people watching too.  If I could only be paid to be a professional people-watcher, life would be grand.

I ended up spending about £25 in H & M just like a knew I would.  I bought three pairs of lovely earrings and two rings, a concealer, nail polish and purse.  Like I needed all those things.  Ah well, whatchu gonna do?

We were going to have sushi at YO! Sushi, but the queue was too long and we were starving so we did Wai Kika Moo Kau instead, which is this really nice vege café.  I had nachos and garlic bread, I think the other had various vege burgers.

I told the girls about my massive parcel of sex toys, only to hear coughing next to me, as Boo choked to death on her lunch.  How was I to remember that I hadn’t mentioned to her that I am a tester/reviewer?  I guess the statement “I got a box of dildoes as big as this table this morning” could come as a bit of a shock to the system!

I have to confess to Shocking Fish that I have barely touched the surface with that box so far.  As soon as I get a spare hour I will get all the bits out and have a proper gander.  I believe he’s included some undies as well so I’m sure Rocker will be pleased!  Gary B still sits in his box but I will take him out soon, blow him up and see what he’s really like.  Don’t worry I will document the beginning of his live chez Wondy!

On Saturday evening we went over to Veronica’s and watched an educational travel DVD about Italy and had kebabs (Nice!).  I’m not sure if I’ve ever really mentioned Veronica, but she’s Rocker’s Great Aunt and Nanny Worthing’s daughter.  She’s in her sixties and very chic.  Plus she’s wickedly good fun and we enjoy slagging people off together!

We’re going shopping together this Saturday while Rocker works again!

Yesterday we all went to Brighton together again and had lunch at the beefeater.  Then I bought a Bette Davis biography for £2 in this discount store and then we went home and watched Monster-in-Law.  J.Lo is seriously pretty and good in the fluffy roles, but I thought the film definitely belonged to Jane Fonda.  The woman is amazing!  She must have been nipped, tucked, sucked and buffed to within an inch of her life!  She’s never been better than in Barbarella though, one of my favourite movies ever.

Actually I thought the movie was a little flat and not nearly as good as it should have been.  But whatever.  It filled a few hours with mindless, fluffy entertainment, I wasn’t expecting art house.

Ol’ SF went to see Underworld: Evolution with Monkey Saturday and he said that was a little bit poo.  I have no desire to see it simply because Kate Beckinsale is in it.  I’m no fan of hers.

Then I watched Supernatural on ITV2, Blade 2 on Channel 4 and then fell asleep on the couch.

And now it’s Monday again and I’m here.

The managers are all out today at a conference so it’s quite quiet.  Ice Queen is here though so can’t doss about altogether, but Medieval Girl brought in a Banana & Walnut loaf she made for me so it’s all good!

I love Medieval Girl, I do!

Happy Monday one and all!

Whenever I hear Underworld mentioned it just makes me think of the knicker factory in Coronation Street :P x
