Wondy's Top Ten Style Icons

No surprise here, of course in Babs making the list. She may not be the coolest woman alive but she's sure as hell the funniest. Blowing the trumpet for unconventional beauty, Babs defied Hollywood by not getting her nose fixed and becoming one of the most successful Actress/Singers in the world. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Hollywood.
Babs at her best: What's Up, Doc? / Funny Girl / The Way We Were

Ok, so the lady is Wonder Woman but she's divine and you can't escape the fact. Once described as 'the most beautiful woman in the world' she looks as good now as she did then. And no-one can fill though star-spangled hotpants like Carter can.
Lynda works it: in "Wonder Woman" (like, duh)

The best actress around today. And the most enchanting. Always looks great should she be working the adrodgynous look or sporting a f**king great set of wings. Tilda, I love you.
Tilda kicks ass: Orlando / Constantine / The Beach
Predictable perhaps, but the woman was undeniably a walking sex bomb and owner of the most iconic face and body ever. Rumour has it she smelt and took literally hours to apply her make-up but I don't care. What a waste.
See Maz shine: The Prince and the Showgirl / Some Like It Hot / The Misfits

The sexiest animal rights activist I can think of and the very picture of feminity. I love her look - she has the best hair ever. A girl in a club once approached me and told me I had 'eyes like Bardot', the nicest compliment I have ever had. All I can say is - I wish.
brigette Rocks: Et Dieu... créa la femme (And God Created Woman)

The Original naughty pin-up - Bettie had something the Jordan's of today will never have - the ability to mix minxiness with innocence. Beautiful, curvy and just wonderful.
"I love to swim in the nude and roam around the house in the nude. You're just as free as a bird!"
Bettie works it: Striporama / Varietease / Teaserama

In my opinion, the most talented Hepburn. Fabulously chiselled, wonderfully mysterious and a terrific actress - there's not one person in Hollywood today with the same charisma. When I was a girl I remember seeing her in Bringing Up Baby and have ever since thought fondly of the woman 'with the pet leopard'. F**king cool.
Katherine kicks ass in: Bringing Up Baby / The Philadelphia Story / The African Queen

Maybe SJP isn't exactly 'old skool', maybe she's a controversial choice (for every person who loves her look, there's another who can't abide her) but I have always loved her - even before Carrie Bradshaw came along. I like the fact she's not conventional - and I like her best when she's dressed down (see above). Plus she's been in two Tim Burton films. That makes her ok in my book!
Choice SJP moments: Ed Wood / The First Wives Club / "Sex and the City" / State and Main

Mrs Marilyn Manson always looks immaculate, never wears sweatpants and is simply one of the most beautiful women in fashion today. A fan of the 'pale is interesting' mantra, Dita (real name Heather Sweet) is a woman. A glamourous inspiration - the like of Parasite Hilton should take note - this is style.
Dita works it as the star of her own burlesque shows. See http://www.dita.net/ for stills from the shows.

Hard to think that this is the girl of Labyrinth fame - but she showed promise then and she's fantastic now. I think she's a little underrated but if it keeps her making good film choices then I'd rather her star didn't go stellar. Stunning and natural, I'd sell my left testicle to look like her. Forget Aniston, Lopez and Saunders - this is the only Jennifer we need!
Jen rules in: Dark City / Requiem for a Dream / House of Sand and Fog
