Because we want to

A message for my favourite Scouser, Chica – in response to the questions raised in your post, Why, Blog? – I have a few things to say (now there’s a surprise!).

Firstly, an’ most importantly – don’t you dare stop blogging! – You’re one of my staples and I can’t imagine not reading you at work, when I should be *gulp* actually working.  You make me laugh and you’re writing style is really good so it would be shame not to be able to share it.

Secondly, the actual question: Why Blog is a funny one.  I love to blog, I find it cathartic, even though I hardly reveal a thing – maybe it is so we have something to look back on, who knows.  I like to read back what I have written, and like you, whether I’m good enough or not, I would love a career in freelance writing.  

I tell you something though, I’ve been going nearly every day for 14 months and I never get bored or feel it’s not worth it.
