Lovely day

Today is a great, great day – not only is it my last Monday ever in this job (hurrah!), it is also the morning after the night Philip Seymour Hoffman won Best Actor at the Oscars!

You’d think life couldn’t get any better than that – but it can – the sun is shining (!) and I opened my emails this morning to a video clip of Jack & Sawyer from Lost in a Lost/Brokeback Mountain parody.  Pretty men being a bit gay together? Yes please!

Staying on the gay theme, I managed to persuade Rocker to watch Kinky Boots with me on Saturday (hey I sat through Guy X with him) and after rolling his eyes and saying “God, no not more Gay appreciation”, he really enjoyed it.  Even more so that his own movie. Ha.

I have to say that I have fallen deeply in love with Chiwetel Ejiofor, who’s amazing anyway, but as Drag Queen Lola?  OMG.  He’s incredible.  I like a movie with a happy sing-a-long ending, and the musical number at the end doesn’t disappoint, let me tell you.
