Stan

As mentioned before I have been looking at some of Stanley Donwood's work as recommended by my brother, who is a big fan.

Admittedly, I've seen his work before but never really given it much thought. So I've looked him up and this is what I have learned:

• Stanley Donwood is the pseudonym of English writer and artist Dan Rickwood
• Has been collaborating with Radiohead's frontman Thom Yorke since 1996 - and Donwood and Yorke met at the University of Exeter as art students
• In 2001, they won a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package for the Special Edition of Amnesiac
• Donwood worked as a freelance artist in Plymouth
• He is also a very talented writer and you can check out some of his short stories here: www.slowlydownward.com - my personal favourites are: Fingers, Seaside Town of Vampires and Nearly Got.

I love discovering hidden gems like this. There are so many talented people out there, each one different - we just have to open our eyes.
