Today I spent a lovely afternoon in a coffee shop with Medieval Girl and her mum and the lovely baby, Oisin - who is really tiny.

I don't normally 'do' babies, they certainly never interest me - I'm always the girl hiding in the back when someone brings their newborn into work to show them off - but Oisin is different.

He's Medieval's son, afterall.

And, secretly, yes I even had a very very brief twinge of an ache of envy.

But we won't go there.
