Sunday's Girl

This weekend has been completely wasted by yours truly, as I have come over all bone idol and slept for most of it. I should be ashamed of myself, but I'm not.

Fuck it, I work hard, if I want to spend a weekend in my PJ's I will. It hasn't been completely wasted though as I have done the following: watched all but two episodes of the second series of The Mighty Boosh, finished the aforementioned Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, read a chunk of my book The Wind-up Bird Chronicle , straightened my hair, started writing some notes for my own novel (!) and written some poetry.

(Ha - I lied about that last part!)

My mind never goes to sleep, it's always ticking over. In fact I think it's more active these days while I sleep than it is when I'm awake. The dreams I have are always so vivid.

Last night I dreamt about an old boyfriend I had in Australia who totally did a number on me and cheated with every girl (and boy) in town. God knows how he cropped up but I went to visit him in a big country house he was staying in and he didn't even come to greet me, the sod.

It's another story for another time but he looked just like Josh Hartnett. Shame he had the personality of a dung beetle, really.

Ho hum.

A special shout out to the beautiful Shocking Fish - he knows why: darling, you are beautiful and special and wonderful as you are, don't go changing.
