Big Brother's only nice contestant

TMX writes: "When I was a student a few years back I worked in a juice bar outside Churchill Square (the big shopping-centre in Brighton). I was stuck in there all day by myself and I took lots of fag breaks. One day i forgot my lighter - I asked a customer for a light. It happened to be Pete from Big Brother. Without saying anything he disappeared and returned five minutes later having bought me a lighter from the newsagent down the road, refusing to take any money for it. Nice guy."
