Food of Love
Thankfully the sweltering heat has relented slightly, making it possible to string more than two words together in a sentence and have the energy to go shopping for some new flip flops after work! Thank god for no longer working two jobs - and being able to leave the office at 4 pm!
I fancy myself a little kimono number from Monsoon, which is out of my price range but is very cute - it spoke to me from the pages of Vogue. Yes, I may look like something the cat yokked up on a daily basis, but I still follow the pages of the greatest fashion mag in history.
I don't subscribe to the philosophy that fashion magazines make women feel bad about themselves, I love them because they show beautiful women and give me ideas on how to look better myself - ok so I am about seven or eight times wider than the average model and maybe I should feel thoroughly ashamed that I will never be like them, but I don't. Plus women are so much more interesting to look at than men, I hate to say it.
Anyway, this kimono top is stunning and looks fab with jeans or dressed up with a nice skirt so would be a fabulous investment...
*sigh*
Intellectual Crush is trying to round up a gang of us to go for dinner at this restaurant, which sounds rather interesting. But then he's an interesting guy so no McDonald's Happy Meals for him, oh no. I said I am game to try it, it sounds like an alternative experience to the usual going down the pub meetings, which are fine by me but I'm more of a foodie than a wino to be frank so I prefer a good restaurant.
I will let you know more if I end up going, I know some of my readers have a big interest in fine cuisine...

There's naught much better than some good mid-eastern style nosh. Sounds like they got it right too, which is a refreshing change.
You can wear your new top!
Hey Wondy Woman! Thanks for linking to MoB.
The Levant is great - we must go about once a week. Make sure you have the middle-eastern pastries and some Moroccan Mint Tea. Tell 'em Dave set ya!
Cheers
