A massive heartfelt thank you to my friend Heather of Yummy Sushi Pajamas, who not only keeps me entertained at work (*shudder* that dirty word) with her emails, but who also sent me a wonderful gift, which I received this morning.
She sent me The Night Buffalo by Guillermo Arriaga, a great talented author also responsible for contemporary classics Amores Perros (bloody brilliant film that was too) and "21 Grams" (ditto).
I can't wait to read it so thank you very very much, my friend!

And hey, Jesus - how funny - I was just wondering myself this morning whether this one would make it to the silverscreen. It looks just my cup of tea, as I adore Amores Perres and 21 Grams was not slow poke as a movie either!
