That Friday Feeling

It's a funky Friday indeed with only approximately 6 working hours left until the weekend. Believe me every second of the weekend counts - I plan to go home and clean house while Rocker attacks the waist length uber-weed growing in our back garden. God only knows what he will find in there - a long forgotten ancient civilisation/Stig of the Dump/a colony of pygmy goats dressed in Victorian garb, teaching each other to juggle?

(I hope it's the latter)

We are having our home re-valued by a new estate agents tomorrow morning as it looks as though we have no choice but to start the whole sorry process again. So much for my dreams of freedom.

Right now and ever since we watched Kingdom of Heaven (and more recently, Hideous Kinky - based on the novel Hideous Kinky by British author, Esther Freud, great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud), Rocker has had a fascination with all things Moroccan. In particular Marrakech.

His biggest fantasy is to become a nomad, wandering the land with no restraints, buying rugs and smoking copious amounts of hashish - while my dream is simpler still. I shall live in a tree house (they must have sturdy trees in Marrakech?), grow my hair down to my bottom and dance gaily on the beaches, gently jangling the bells and bangles I will have adorned my entire body with.

Oh to dream. Thank god it is free.

So when's your tree-warming party?

You're inviting me, right? :)

Please make the tree large enough and I will come to live with you in all your nature nymph glory.

Also, I am requesting a pic of the juggling Victorian goats. I want to see if they might be related to the uni-cycling Shakesperean sheep under our back stairs.

Happy Friday m'love. You'd better wander over and give me pirate costume opinions sometime soon. You're the only one I trust!

If they have no adequate trees we shall uproot one of our mighty Canadian trees and have it shipped immediately over to Marrakesh so that you may construct your arboreal abode.
