Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon
Although I stand by the fact that re-making any of my favourite films, especially a John Waters film, is sheer sacrilege and should not be forgiven at all, under any circumstances, ever - it is kind of funny to catch a glimpse of a couple of Hollywood heavyweights looking like total knobs in costume, as pictured here:
John Travolta & Christopher Walken as Edna Turnblad and Wilbur Turnblad respectively, in the remake of Hairspray.
There is just no way you can beat the original, and why would you want to? Divine was a true star in every sense and it's disrespectful to his memory!
What next? Pink Flamingos starring Lindsay Lohan as crap-eating Babs Johnson? Cecil B. DeMented with Paris Hilton?
Where will this madness end?
