Match Point

Have any of you seen the movie Match Point?

I stayed up until 2 am this morning watching it and I'm a little bit vexed, I've got to say. I can't obviously go too much into it because if I do I will ruin the ending for anyone who might see it (and believe me, that's my speciality) but, hmmmm. It's weird.

I am a total Woody Allen freak and I like everything he does, even the crap - and this film is of a very high standard, you can't deny the attention to detail and the ode to the city of London that ripples through it's cinematography, but it twists violently near the end and left me reeling.

Well, it left me reeling - possibly that is due to the fact that I'm a little slow at picking up on the hints left by the director, no matter how heavy-handed.

I suppose I was waiting for a happy ending and most certainly did not get it!

Scarlett Johansson is phenomenally good, as always, and so attractive it makes me sick. The woman is stunning and sensual and actually everything a woman should be - and I wish twinkies like Paris and Nicole and (god forgive me) LiLo would take note.

Scarlett is sexy, skelectal is not.

I might be a little in love with ScarJo myself so you'll have to bear with me, I'm afraid.

One thing is for sure, Jonathan Rhys Meyers still makes my skin crawl and has a face I want to slap. He's great in the main role and has very pretty eyes but still, I don't buy him as an actor and have a theory that he's nothing but a bounder and a cad in real life.

Sorry girls, I know some of you out there are fans - but not Wondy! Is this part of my 'pretty boy' complex?

See it, it's very enjoyable - and gives you a great snapshot of London. There's even a Banksy thrown in near the end, see if you can spot it!
