Ban Cock

12 hours of hell (well not hell - chick flicks and free booze) later and we are here finally - in the filthy, steaming streets of Bangkok. Arrived at hotel about 11am and have just now woken - at 7pm Thai time.

Hotel doesn't look anything like it did on the internet but the bed is clean and vicious rumours of having to share with bed bugs have so far proved unfounded.

Thai men are very smiley and very pushy - so far we have been too tired to argue when we've been ushered from taxi to tuk-tuk.

Yes, I have finally experienced the crazy tuk-tuk. Heart in mouth we hold on as we are led blindly along the Khao San Road, hoping just to be alive at the end.

Off to explore and enjoy a noodle dinner. Dog flavoured optional.
