Bangkok or Bussed

2 nights on the road lie ahead for us as we make our way down to the sandy beaches of Koh Phangan by bus - having heard many horror stories from fellow travellers about staff on the bus trying to rob you and then having read the same thing in Lonely Planet, one is rather wondering what she has let herself in for - but I guess it is nothing a handful of padlocks and a big stick can't resolve.

Just let them try and rob me, I'll be waiting!

All that and knowing what it's like trying to sleep on a coach - well, I just know we're in for a fun filled few days but no matter - hopefully paradise is waiting at the other end...
