Tiger Feet
Lions, and Tigers, and Bears - oh my!
Well, Tigers and Bears, that's all we saw today. That's all? Hello! I held a tiger's head in my lap, a very very docile tiger who may or may not have been drugged. They say they haven't but I'm not sure I'm all that convinced. Buddhist tigers?
Anyway, I have masses of pictures, they're being burned to CD by an angry Thai girl as we speak, I may have to post them tomorrow. Needless to say the real stars of the pictures are the tigers themselves who are seriously beautiful. I was completely blown away by them.
Rocker not so much so as he used to handle the Big Cats at Whipsnade Zoo, so to him it's no biggie, but to me it was the most amazing thing in the world, ever. I got to touch them too. I do wonder why they are so docile though and I'm not buying this whole mung-bean loving, peaceful existence baloney. There's got to be more to it than that and I'd hate to think suspiciously of the Buddhist monks, but...
Mum - can you answer this for me?
Oh, and we also saw a monk dragging a bear out of a bush today and the same bear then mauled Rocker's t-shirt, leaving a massive tear. Talk about a unique souvenir!
We also went to the River Kwai, took a trainride across it, visited the war museum and then a waterfall bang in the middle of nowhere. These little tours are well worth doing but they're pretty fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, as the tour guides just palm you off on other groups and never really tell you where you are going. So not for the weak-hearted.
Met a trio of friendly Germans though, and one of them laughed at my jokes so I take back the whole lack of sense of humour comment. Also took a picture of a pony with a massive dong.
Had to be done really.
Pictures to follow on the morrow, one hopes.

Wheee! I love this pictures. That is absolutely amazing.
Adventure doesn't come from an agenda or schedule so enjoy your mayhem. I'd take the madness of whacky Thai tour guides over the drudgery of the workday anytime.
