Happy Boxing Day!

Our friend, Tony sent us this inspiring message all the way from Thailand, so I was persuaded to do my own. I wish I could move like that (click the HBD message at top).

I love Boxing Day round our way, it's more relaxed and is geared solely around eating (all the pressure of presents has worn off).

Sadly, this household has come down with the dreaded lurgy and so the usual Boxing Day festivities have been cancelled. Still, at least we can suck on Quality Street in our pyjamas as a welcome alternative. I plan to possibly watch Love Actually again and maybe The Family Stone, digest my body weight in cheese and crackers, and mourn Pauline Fowler's demise (British institution was our Pauline, any non-Brits out there).

I got a lovely leather portfolio and matching Parker pen from my mother for Christmas for writing in so I might see if I can put that to good use in the next few days. I really do want to get off my ass this year and do something about my dreams.

Tim showed me some of his photographs on his camera last night, and I have to say some of those are even better than the ones he has already shown the world. He's so bloody talented. I do hope this is the year we will both realise our dreams, him with photography and me with my writing.

But we shall see.

Enjoy your day after Christmas day fun!

I swear you will probably NEVER believe me but I was wearing the very same crown on Christmas day...only mine was yellow! Just proves great minds (and tastes) think alike, no? ;)

"Love Actually" *sigh* I could watch Bill Nighy all day. Handsome devil, he is.

Hope you enjoyed your day after Christmas fun! Me? Well, I spent most of the day comatose, worn out from the two days before. Sleep. All I want now is sleep.

You may well be the first person in history ever to manage to look foxing in a cracker crown! Well done you!
