Cupid Rules OK

I'd like to dedicate this post on this rainy wet Valentine's Day to Wondy Mum™, who never forgot to send us an 'anonymous' card each year, even taking the time to disguise the hand-writing so you never really knew for sure who could possibly of sent it.

Was it really 'the boy down the road'? Who, incidently, I avoided for a decade just in case.

I miss those cards and I miss the anticipation of casually going downstairs on Valentine's morn, ignoring the post for as long as possible and then pouncing, only to find absolutely nothing (apart from aforementioned WM scribed card, by then I had figured it out.)

Valentine's meant more to me then, when I was single, as every year I believed would be the year someone would secretly adore me - it was hope that did it. And now I'm one half of a couple, it doesn't mean the same. Is this bad?

We should love and respect eachother every day not just today, through the medium of a flimsy piece of pink cardboard.

So friends, and WM™ this is for you - all my love in a blog post, winging it's way around the world to you.
