My Turn

Inspired by Heather and this photograph - I give you my own contribution to the You Are Beautiful campaign.

It's not exactly imaginitive but it is me - and I suppose that is the whole point of the campaign, to be yourself and know you are beautiful. Because each one of us is.

I thought I'd cradle my sticker gently in my hand, like I do my self-esteem - you have to nurture it and keep it safe like a little baby bird.

But as Rainy Pete rightly pointed out, "remember that if you keep it cradled and safe forever nobody else gets to revel in it".

Okay so completely off the wall question:
Is that your natural eye color? If it is or not, your eyes are really neat.

Thank you!

Yep, they are all mine, though I sometimes worry they're a bit too freaky...

Too freaky of an eye color? Good God no, they're gorgeous!!!

Much more interesting that your basic murky brown, that's for sure!

LOVE the picture, Wondy! :)

I just mean sometimes I think I look a bit too... odd.

Stupid, really!

Anyway, thanks PQ much appreciated.

For the record, would love brown or green eyes!

It's a whole new side of him from Useless Men. I guess he does take that nose off once in awhile. Very nice, endearing and sweet even.

PS- You are beautiful, stunning even. My sister is a redhead too, lucky b-word. I like my hair as it is but I've always admired red hair. Still, as Pete would tell you, that's all on the outside and only reflects some of the beauty you have inside of you (and I don't mean goopy stuff like intestines, just in case that's where your mind goes - Pete would come up with that too.)
