Plain Jane
I have a confession to make and it may cause the world to spin over-dramatically off its axis - so prepare yourselves for a jolt:
I do not like Jane Austen. Or rather I am not a fan of her works.
I am not a real woman.
That is all.

Well, I'm glad you said it first! ;) I honestly don't think that everyone does.
Jane Austen is a bit hard to get through...I try, but the spark isn't always there for me either.
Don't feel bad...I don't like Mark Twain much, and in America that equates me with a neurotic Communist bedwetter with an Electra complex.
Pardon me for not likin' "Tom Sawyer" or "Huckleberry Finn", folks...
Hey I don't like alot of the "classics". They bore me silly. We're all entitled to like what we like, be it Nietschke, Shakespeare or cartoons!
Wondy! THANK YOU for posting this. I am not alone anymore. :-)
Well, Girls - I think we should start a new gang - the Anti-Austen Gang or something.
This isn't a comment on anyone who does love Janey by the way, it's just I don't get the appeal x
Lol. I loved this. And I relate. Glad someone had the guts to put it out there into the world...
