Estimate the total number of books you have ever ownedin your life?
Hundreds and hundreds, couldn't tell ya.

What is the last book you bought?
I bought three at the same time, on a two for three offer - How The Dead Live by Will Self, In The Miso Soup by Ryu Murakami and Eleanor Rigby by Douglas Coupland.

What is the last book you read?
The B*tch Goddess Handbook by Martha O'Connor. It was ok, not dynamite.

List 5 books that mean a lot to you.

1. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck - this is the first book that really affected me, it tells the story of two men in search of the 'American dream' - I just love it. They made it in to a movie too and I love that as well. It's sad and definately not a happy ending. I like Steinbeck in general, Tortilla Flats also being a favourite.

2.Red Dragon by Thomas Harris. THE best story of the lot, even better than Silence of the Lambs. I read this dozens of times as a teenager, it sucked me in every time, even though I know how it was going to end.

3. Belladonna by Karen Moline - the ultimate revenge tale, it's nasty but also classy and you can't help but whoop all the way through it in encouragement of the heroine!

4. Porno by Irvine Welsh - I couldn't put this down. Maybe because it's basically the sequel toTrainspotting and it came such a long time after that that I was just dying to find out what happened to those characters. I also like the way Irvine Welsh writes, he has a warped imagination I like.

5. The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe - What can I say? First book to make me cry, I can't read it as an adult without a tear forming. I love this story the best.
