Happy Birthday Nanny Worthing
Today would have been Nanny Worthing's 96th birthday so this morning we went to a little temple not far from where we are on the island to light a candle in her honour.
I think she would of appreciated the setting as, quite fittingly, the place was full of dogs and cats happily climbing all over the religious artifacts.

Im sure she was looking down on you and smiling
Or, she was dancing about the temple with the kitties, climbing all over Buddha and being generally irreverent in that awesome way that only old people can be.
Sweetie I send you a hug for the saddness you've had and I really admire how you keep going. ((((HUGS))))S
Maybe she was one of the cats climbing all over Buddha. Even so I'm sure she was glad to be remembered.
You had a nanny? In the U.S. only really rich families have nannies, or at least that has been my experience. lol.
Yes, in fact I do live in the ghetto. However, I'm not sure how long you would like to swap... it's rather dangerous. There are many drug deals, hookers, and other sketchy characters who hang about waiting to swoop down upon unsuppecting country girls such as myself. But, you're welcome anytime, if you come to the States. No one really notices extra people about where I live, as people are in and out at all hours of the night for all sorts of reasons.
