It's All Just Nothingness

I feel I owe you a meaty post after my absence but really, honestly I have nothing to say. I saw a squirrel standing by the side of a busy street this afternoon, waiting to cross - but that is about it.

Rocker and I visited a haunted hall, but nothing leapt out at me. I took a picture of myself in the so-called ghostly mirror, but looking back at it, no sinister apparition has even had the decency to lurk menacingly behind me.

My hair is greasy and I may wash it this evening. I have a meeting with my impossibly gorgeous friend Jane to look forward to tomorrow, and I'll be buggered if I'm turning up with a greasy fringe. The girl is 6'4" as it is and was once chatted up by Leonardo DiCraprio - I feel inadequate as it is!

Actually, Jane is so nice and clever AND stunning, that she totally disproves the theory (my theory) that beautiful women must all be ugly inside.

And if she's reading this she's probably rolling her eyes modestly at the screen, but I love her. She's gorgeous. I think we're walking Paddy the Dog and then having food - so it's all good!

This comment is supposed to be on the next post, the book one, but stupid blogger wouldn't let me post one there so....

Unfortunately I've got nothing to offer you on those titles. I could, however, tell you all about Cartledge's Alexander the Great or Hirsch's Seizing The Light: A History of Photography...
